All dogs really do want to please but they are not born knowing right from wrong; it is up to us, their loving human guardians, to teach them. We can guide you into knowing the correct ways to work with your dog to achieve that end result—a truly harmonious human-canine bond that goes beyond description. Our methods are always and only positive reinforcement based. As opposed to compulsion-based methods, when dogs are allowed to think responses through themselves, there is a proven higher retention rate created through mutual respect. We concentrate on teaching your dog, as well as teaching you, so that you have the skills and knowledge needed to consistently reinforce between sessions the behaviors he’ll be learning. We also teach you how to use PRAISE effectively (very important) to help your dog maintain a high enthusiasm level which enables him to continue working to please you.
